We believe small businesses deserve the same clarity and confidence as the big players — without the cost, the jargon, or the complexity.
Innovation Club was born out of lived experience. We’ve led companies through growth, crisis, and change. We’ve seen how the right tools — simple, clear, and accessible — can cut waste, unlock potential, and give people space to focus on what matters.
We don’t build technology for technology’s sake. We build it for people like you: the owner trying to scale, the team learning Lean for the first time, the manager buried in spreadsheets. Our mission is to level the playing field so small businesses can thrive.
We’re not here to sell you transformation theatre. We’re here to ship working software that makes Tuesday easier than Monday.
Businesses aren’t built by systems alone — they’re built by people. And those people go home at the end of the day to families. That’s why Innovation Club supports both worlds: giving business owners practical tools to run leaner, and giving families safe, fun ways to learn and grow together.
Our business apps focus on clarity and simplicity — cutting through noise, reducing waste, and helping leaders focus on what matters most.
Our learning apps, like Spell Buddy and Story Forge, do the same for children and parents: easy-to-use, safe tools that spark confidence, curiosity, and joy in learning.
Because when families thrive, businesses thrive. And when small businesses thrive, communities thrive. That’s the ripple effect Innovation Club exists to create.
Chaos costs money.
Issues get lost in email, tasks fall between teams, and the same problems circle the drain.
Data is a mess.
Everyone wants AI; almost nobody has usable data. Without it, “intelligent” apps are just confident guessers.
Roll-outs are painful.
Training decks, roadshows, and change programmes exhaust people before the tool even launches.
Small teams don’t have time to be toolsmiths. They need value in hours and days, not quarters.
So we build tools that are blazingly simple, work in the browser, and slot into the real world you already live in.
1) The Club
A real club. Open meet-ups where owners, operators, and makers bring problems, sketch ideas, and test things without judgement. Good ideas are logged, shaped, and prioritised. No jargon. No committee theatre.
2) The Pipeline
Ideas move through a clear stage-gate:
Problem → Concept → Prototype → Pilot → Launch → Iterate.
At each stage we ask:
- Is this solving a real pain?
- Can we build it in weeks?
- Will it save time or money?
If it’s a yes, it moves. If it’s a no, it parks. No drama
3) The Studio
We design and ship small, sharp, browser-based apps that stand alone but play nicely together.
Think “one job, done beautifully,” with optional AI assistance to handle the boring bits—summaries, suggestions, prioritisation, and nudges.
4) The Collective
If an idea starts in the Club and becomes a product, the originator gets credited and shares in the upside.
We also work with Power Developers—independent builders who deliver consistently and share in the long-term value. Good behaviour compounds.
I built this because I’ve lived the pain. I’ve rolled out LEAN with spreadsheets and sermons, watched adoption limp, and felt good people burn out under busywork. Innovation Club is the thing I wish I’d had: a place to surface problems fast, solve them with tiny tools, and keep the wins compounding. If that sounds like your kind of mischief, pull up a chair.
